Rush Delivery
Today’s photograph earned us free beignets. Audrey and I sat at the counter at Milktooth in Indianapolis, IN as the first service rush unfolded directly in front of us. We were witnessing a well oiled machine at work. I began photographing quietly, but when the workers noticed, they started posing and smiling so I got permission to turn on the flash and got several clean, unguarded frames. After that, I put the camera down to enjoy the delicious food and my lovely date. A few minutes later the mysterious free beignets arrived and profuse thank you's were exchanged.
